Pace and Love

Solid Timber piece, believed to be Elm.

The piece came chard on one face with one edge which was sanded down and sealed with Irish bees wax.

Nails were added in to create the heard and peace symbols which represent the connection between peace and love.

A single strand of copper wire connected the two symbols which is overlaid by a single strand of black thread in order to create further shadows on the piece.
